    Hmm, if it has to be my fave of all time, I'll have to say Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball). There are others I think are great classics: Earl Hickey, Archie Bunker, Hawkeye Pierce and many others. But Lucy is always funny to me.

    I really liked Lucille Ball in the early (black and white) I Love Lucy television show. I think that those episodes in which she and Ethel get into trouble (95% of them, right?) have become iconic of women's relationships. Either that, or they were tapping into something that women were experiencing then and portrayed it spot-on.
