Largehearted Boy: December 22nd Updates to the Online Best of 2009 Music Lists
My favorite always changes, but right now it has to be "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue"
--- the philosophy of life in a nutshell~
Favorite song is "Positively Fourth Street", followed closely by "Idiot Wind".
The best track off the best Dylan album.
Favorite Dylan song by someone else: All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix
I think I'd have to START with "Stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again" or whatever the hell the official title is. All of
Blond on Blond, All of Tangled Up in Blue and all of Biograph would probably keep me happy for a few months on a desert island. The only other musician who has ever affected me that strongly is Ryan Adams and I couldn't choose one of his, either, though I'd start with "The Rescue Blues."
"The Man In Me"
enjoyable for me are "The Hurricane" & "She Belongs To Me" especially Rick Nelson's version.
Very difficult, but one i like a lot is Jerry Engler: Time Stands Still
emvark at gmail dot com
but I would fill this box with great Dylan songs.. but album wise..
Blonde on Blonde for sure.
Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me
"Took an untrodden path once, where the swift don't win the race,
It goes to the worthy, who can divide the word of truth.
Took a stranger to teach me, to look into justice's beautiful face
And to see an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth."

Favourite song is Desolation Row
Thanks for the chance!
Since I have been listening to him for nearly all of the 32 years I've been alive, my favorite Dylan song changes regularly.
My favorite Dylan memory is taking my mom to see the Time Out Of Mind tour...it was a way to thank her for filling my life with music.
Thanks!
Favourite song: probably 'A Hard Rains A-Gonna Fall'
It is a song wonderfully empathetic song that is also very prescient and probably more relevant today than when ots was written.
My favorite song would be Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands.
my favorite bobby song right now, at this moment, as i am typing this to you is.... (journey through dark heat) where are you tonight.
and, by the way, those are great prizes.
wish me luck!!!
( too much to ask )

Awesome!
"When when I was only 17, I could hear the angels whispering. So I drove into the woods and wondered aimlessly about, until I heard my mother shouting through the fog. It turned out to be the howling of the dog"
classic.
This song changed my life in 1965, whether for better or worse, who knows?
Truthfully it was seeing Woven Hand several times over the past year that gave me a new appreciation of the song. David Eugene Edwards began most shows of their last tour by playing it alone on stage, accompanied by his banjola. Chilling and beautiful.
